recruiting--reporters wanted!

We are looking for reporters on the east coast (preferrably northeast) and in Texas.

Have you ever wanted to work in the Japanese music scene, covering Jrock events, concerts, and even interviewing your favorite bands? Then look no further!

We are currently recruiting volunteers on the east coast and in Texas to become reporters for Project: Jrock Events (USA). These reporters will have to write live reports, photograph live shows, and may have the chance to interview Jrock bands. There will also be occasional other duties to be done as well. Benefits include free convention entry and the chance to meet various Jrock bands.

If this sounds interesting to you and you would like to be a part of our team, please fill out the following and email it to Melony:

Writing sample
*Example of what we can expect in about 300-500 words. We accept live reports you've done in the past. If you haven't written any live reports, you can submit a writing sample such as a review of a CD, or some other event you've attended. Basically what we're looking for is something that will demonstrate that you can write something that is less focused on the personal, and more on the broader picture. For example, if you were to write a live report, we don't want to know about how you got the rail and got to touch the vocalist's hand, we want to know about the band and their interaction with the audience as a whole. Be sure to send your best work because most of our decision is based on your writing sample.

Thank you and we look forward to working with you!
